Vendor Liability

Vendor Liability (Procurement)

Learn about coverages available when hired by the University as a Vendor/Contractor.

Overview

Vendor/Contractor Liability Insurance provides protection against claims of bodily injury and property damage liability for work performed by selected Vendors and Contractors who are under contract with The Regents of the University of California, and the litigation costs to defend against such claims. In addition, miscellaneous errors and omissions coverage provides protection against professional errors that result in financial harm to a third party.

Alternatively, if you are a vendor/exhibitor or performer attending an event being held at one of the universities, you do not require Vendor/Contractor Liability insurance.  However, if you need liability insurance coverage for the event, you would apply online at Event Liability (non-UC Parties) .
